Role Summary
The Marketing Analyst supports the marketing team by delivering actionable insights through digital analytics and performance reporting. This role is essential for improving campaign effectiveness, optimizing spend, and driving growth and retention within our propositions and marketing activities. The focus is on output—translating data into clear recommendations—while maintaining a solid foundation in technical analysis.
Please note: To be eligible for this position, candidates must already reside in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
What You’ll Do
- Digital Campaign Analysis: Evaluate performance across paid, owned, and earned channels (e.g., Meta, Google, email, website), identifying trends, ROI, and optimization opportunities.
- Marketing KPI Reporting: Track and report on key marketing metrics such as reach, engagement, conversion, cost per acquisition, and retention. Ensure visibility of performance against targets.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor KPIs, campaign performance, and customer behavior. Ensure data is accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
- Insight Generation: Translate data into clear insights and recommendations to support campaign planning, budget allocation, and strategic decisions.
- Customer Journey & Funnel Analysis: Map and analyze customer journeys to identify drop-off points and opportunities for optimization.
- Campaign Attribution & ROI Modeling: Apply attribution models to assess campaign impact and guide investment decisions.
- Market Research & Trend Forecasting: Conduct research on consumer behavior, competitor strategies, and emerging market trends relevant to our propositions and marketing initiatives.
- Reporting & Presentation to Stakeholders: Clearly present insights to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- A/B Testing: Experienced in running A/B tests—from quick tactical experiments to developing frameworks for large-scale marketing decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with analytics, marketing, and strategy teams to maximize collaboration and improve best practices.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing or analytics role.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing analytics, preferably in subscription services, healthcare, retail, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of marketing KPIs and digital performance indicators.
- Advanced Power BI skills; experienced in building dashboards and visualizing complex data.
- Highly skilled in writing SQL queries from scratch, including within BigQuery, with a good understanding of key schemas (including GA4 and Google Ads).
- Experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager).
- Experience with campaign attribution, customer journey analysis, and A/B testing.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence decision-making.
- Accuracy and attention to detail when working with large datasets.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a subscription-based or e-commerce business.
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Reviews, and NPS data.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning for customer segmentation is a plus.
- Experience building or working with data pipelines (not an engineering role, but understanding the process is valuable).
- Experience in the veterinary or pet-related industry is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for animals is appreciated!
What We Offer
- Salary between €3,500 – €4,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours), depending on experience.
- 25 vacation days (based on a 40-hour work week).

- Hybrid working – 2 days per week in Vleuten (Tuesday and Thursday), the rest from home.
